Air Handlers, Inc. Has Merged with GasWorks, Inc.!!

As of December 1, 2015, GasWorks, Inc. is now a part of Air Handlers, Inc! As a result of the merger GasWorks, Inc. customers now have access, not only to professional repair services, but also maintenance and installation services. GasWorks, Inc. clients will receive the same high quality and affordable services with Air Handlers, Inc.

Air Handlers, Inc. began as a family-owned general contractor in 1967, serving Western Washington as a specialist in heating, air conditioning and sheet metal fabrication. Now Olympia’s premier HVAC contractor has merged with GasWorks, Inc. to offer customers an even wider variety of quality affordable heating and cooling services. Second-generation owners Mike and Donna Shattuck maintain the company’s outstanding reputation for affordable residential and commercial service, installation, maintenance, and repair in the community.

Big box store issues…

“We purchased a new furnace from a local Big Box store. We already had a heat pump. We were told that the heat pump would connect without problem to the new furnace. However, the heat pump didn’t work, so we called Air Handlers.

“Bryan came out to service the heat pump. He found where the heat pump wasn’t hooked up correctly to the furnace, and also noticed problems with the way the furnace had been installed. Bryan continued with the service of the heat pump – we called the Big Box store and they came back to correct and finish the job. Without Air Handlers help we may have lived with a furnace and heat pump that weren’t really working as they should.

4th of July Heat Wave AC Disaster!

Summer Home Exterior Cleaning

Take care of your home this summer by washing the outside of your house and cleaning the siding. It is best to use a garden hose instead of a pressure washer to avoid damaging the exterior of your home.

It’s SO hot! Here’s how to stay cooler.

Running your ceiling fan at night is a great way to keep cool without turning down the AC. If you changed the direction for winter, don’t forget to change it back! Your fan should be set counterclockwise in the summer so air flow circulates down.
